Lady Gaga on Good Morning America
This is why I truly love Gaga. Dead serious. It’s so moving to see someone with THAT big of a persona and THAT large of a soapbox, get up there and say things that can inspire the entire world to make even the smallest changes.. and most of all to hope. And yeah, I know she’s selling a product. I get that she makes pitches and reiterates the whole MAC thing again and again but if that’s what it takes to get anyone’s attention, then hey, sell a lipstick and save someone’s life while you’re at it. It doesn’t matter what your religion, your race, your sexual orientation, hope reaches everybody. And sometimes I think it can even reach you by way of a fierce and left of center woman who loves wearing latex and armadillo heels.
Don’t care if it’s not punk rock enough, if it’s not Christian enough, if it’s not anything… I support Lady Gaga.
